Ian Poe Kerr est pour les dames et aussi pour les messieurs. Bien qu’il aime jouer le cowboy ou les citoyens droits dans l’uniforme, Ian est plus confortables quand il prépare des martini de vesper et des hors d’œuvres pour ses chers amis. Et ces martini sont remués, pas secoués vous 007 crétins!
Ian est devenu intéressé par la drague tout en vivant, travaillant dans informatique et écrivant pour le GCN à Dublin, Irlande. Ses sentiments virils ont été remués par les étoiles de drague d’Irlandais Panti, Johnny Silvano et Sid Viscous. Après avoir vu le performance de Mitch Mitcham avec Big Moves au Festival St-Ambroise Fringe de Montréal en 2007, Ian a décidé de venir un drag king à Montréal. Sa première performance avec Les Ducs de la Drague était en novembre 2007 aux Boys Night Out accueilli par Cabaret Mado. Il exécute aux Meow Mixes, Faggity Ass Fridays, Stand Up / Strip Down et Cafe Cleopatra.
Pendant le jour, Ian peut être vu sur la rue St. Denis tandis qu’il fait des emplettes pour des chaussures, bretelles et cravates ou en cours de courtisants les hommes et les femmes avec la poésie.

Ian Poe Kerr is a ladies as well as a gentlemen’s gentlemen. Though he likes to play the cowboy or upstanding citizens in uniform, Ian is more comfortable mixing vesper martinis and preparing canapes for his dear sweeties. And those martinis are stirred, not shaken you 007 cretins!
Ian became interested in drag while living, working in IT and writing for the GCN in Dublin, Ireland. His manly feelings were particularly stirred by the antics of Irish Drag Stars Panti, Johnny Silvano and Sid Viscous. However, it was only after being wowed by Mitch Mitcham’s performance with Big Moves at the Montreal Fringe Festival in 2007, that Ian decided to grab a piece of the Montreal drag action. Ian’s first performance with The Dukes of Drag was in November 2007 at the Boys Night Out show hosted by Cabaret Mado. Look for Ian on the bills of Meow Mixes, Faggity Ass Fridays, Stand Up / Strip Down and Cafe Cleopatra shows.
Offstage, Ian may be found shoe shopping on St. Denis, looking for the perfect tie and braces combo or enticing ladies and gentlemen with his rendition of Edgar Allan Poe’s El Dorado.
